Reading/Writing - This week we will continue a genre study lab. This lab will run for approximately 9 weeks - The third marking period. The students will be studying animal stories. They will work to become experts in this genre by examining characters, plots and lessons learned. They will compare various stories and and produce their own animal stories through guided writing practice. This week's focus will be on writing a collection of stories of their own.
Word Work - We will practice reading and writing words with three letter beginning blends (str, scr, spr)
