We will be going to Truman on Thursday, June 7th for the swimming evaluation. Please send in the permission slips as soon as possible. If you do not want your child to participate, they can still go to Truman with us if you want. Just check the first box that says they can go on the bus. You can write on the paper that you do not want them to swim. If I don't get a permission slip back, I will have to find another classroom for them to work in until we get back from Truman.
Field day will begin on 12:30 on Thursday, June 7th. Please put sunscreen on your child and be sure that they are wearing sneakers. Mrs. Compton said, "no sneakers, no field day". Also, please send them with a water bottle.
Please make sure your child has working headphones. They do not have to be fancy or expensive but they will not be able to use our programs without them.
Please adhere to our snack policy. Administration is monitoring the students' snacks and may discontinue snack if students are not limiting their choices to the approved list. Here are the snacks that are permitted in class: fruit, vegetables, cheese, pretzels, goldfish and nut free granola bars. Teachers have been directed to have the students put away their snacks if they are not on the approved list.
Here is our Specials schedule: Day A - Computers/Science lab Day B - Library Day C - Art Day D - Music Day E - Gym Please remind your children to wear sneakers on Day E.

Spelling test Friday.
Our school is continuing with our positive behavior program and the students will be earning PAWS tickets or Dojo points for expected behaviors. 1 PAWS ticket = 1 Dojo point. The Dojo points really serve as virtual PAWS tickets. I only use Class Dojo to keep track of their tickets.
